These are the box office ratings from the 10-12 of October (weekend) in the UK. It shows here the title, the rank, the country of origin, the gross of the weekend, the distributor of the film, the change in percentage on the last week, how many weeks it has been released for, the number of cinema's it was shown in, the site average and also the total gross to the date. All box office figures are very useful for media producers as they can see what is popular, what is not and which are more popular over others. It is estimated that over half of the profit made is given to the distributor, while the rest of the profit will then be kept by the shower of the movie. The guardian completes analysis on the box office just in the UK, also the BFI publish the top 15 film figures for films that are released in the UK, this includes newly released films, also it includes the figures of British releases.
